One Way To A Dead-End
Can you imagine driving down a one-way, dead-end road? I know it sounds ridiculous from a driver’s standpoint, but that’s exactly how life is.

We are always going forward in time and yet our lives lead only to the grave, to a dead-end. We want to turn around on the one-way road and go against all oncoming traffic, but it’s against the law and all the lanes are full, going in the inevitable direction – to a dead-end.

Whether we admit it or not, we are all on such a road. We have no power to stem the inevitable end which is death. But the Lord Jesus said, “Repent,” which means turn around, go in the other direction. What He actually said was, “Unless you repent you will all likewise perish” (Lk. 13:3,5 NKJV).

Jesus also said, “You must be born again” (Jn. 3:7). Being born again gives you a new spiritual life that no longer ends in eternal death, and it gives you the power to go in the other direction forever.

The Bible says that “as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (Jn. 1:12). He will turn you from the broad way of sin that leads to destruction, and get you on the narrow way that leads to eternal life (Mt. 7:13-14). In other words, He will get you going in the other direction.

The question is: Do you want to continue going down the one-way road to a dead-end? Or do you want to ask Jesus to turn you around and get you going in the direction that leads to eternal life? You decide. Then ask Him to do it.

Write to us if you need more information to help you make this decision. We can tell you more!
