The Family article on remarriage (Sept. ’09) was so encouraging for those of us who find ourselves in such difficult situations. These words were a real blessing: “In love, grace and mercy, God made an exception for imperfection – not to accept it but to correct it.” Then, using Rahab and Ruth as examples, the author wrote: “In each case God not only accepted the exceptions but transformed them into the exceptional. Such is the case for remarried couples who place their faith in God.” Thanks for the encouragement. — USA
